The Savings and Loans Green City Festival aims to have a lasting effect, with an undertaking to get the people of Adelaide to pledge or adopt changes in their behaviour to lead a more sustainable life.
On the day visitors will be able to find out about the 5 keys areas impacting sustainable living and how they can modify what they do to make a change. These areas will be:
* Water * Waste * Energy * Transport * Food
How to Participate: Five kiosk will be set up at the festival to provide information, education and encourage people to make a change. Visitors to the festival will be able to consult with experts about how to save energy in all aspects of their lives. Take a form and indicate at any of the pledge areas the commitment you would like to make.
However it’s easy to get motivated on the day…the test will be how to continue to adopt these changes at home. Trade Displays and Vendors at the Savings and Loans Green City Festival |
